Endeavor Hall

| RGM and Associates was the General Contractor for the rehabilitation of Endeavor Hall, a wood-frame historic structure and former church, dating from the 1860’s, and owned by the City of Clayton. Endeavor Hall was raised off its original rock foundation, and a new foundation was poured for the building. The foundation rocks were salvaged, cut in half, and used to edge the new foundation so that the historic appearance was retained. Siding materials were removed and the wood framing was repaired and brought up to current codes. The building interior was modified, and an addition was built, so that the City can use it as a meeting facility, complete with commercial kitchen facilities, accessible restrooms, and a raised stage area. |
